Morpho Privacy Policy

This page explains what Morpho handles in order to provide AI analysis, account access, AI usage tracking, and subscription services.

What matters most

  • Your account is used only to provide account access, record AI usage, or support subscription services.
  • Cloud services store only account information and AI usage records needed to operate Morpho.
  • We do not sell, rent, broker, or share your data.
  • Local conversations and study records remain on your device unless a feature explicitly needs cloud-backed account or usage processing.

What we process

  • Account information needed to sign in, protect your account, and provide subscription access.
  • AI usage records needed to meter usage, maintain service limits, and support subscription features.
  • Purchase and entitlement identifiers needed to validate subscriptions. Morpho does not receive your full payment card details.
  • When you submit Japanese text, prompts, or other content for analysis, translation, or language-learning assistance, that content may be transmitted to our AI service providers for processing.

How we use data

  • To provide AI grammar analysis, chat, usage limits, and account-based access.
  • To record AI usage so the service can operate reliably and fairly.
  • To process subscriptions, restore purchases, and keep entitlement status accurate.
  • To answer support requests and investigate reliability issues.

Service providers we rely on

  • Cloudflare Workers, D1, and related infrastructure for account-backed service logic and AI usage records.
  • RevenueCat and Apple App Store services for subscription status, purchase validation, and entitlement handling.
  • AI and speech service providers needed to generate analysis, chat responses, OCR-adjacent workflows, and audio features.

Data sharing

We do not share data for advertising, data brokerage, or behavior tracking. Morpho uses OpenAI-compatible AI service providers to generate language analysis, grammar explanations, translations, and related learning features. User-submitted content may be shared with these providers solely for the purpose of delivering the requested functionality. These providers are required to provide privacy and security protections consistent with applicable laws and industry standards.

Your choices and controls

  • You can contact us for privacy questions or account-related requests.
  • You can manage subscriptions through Apple App Store account settings.
  • You can use device-level controls to remove local app data from your device.

Security and retention

We use authenticated requests and provider security features to protect data in transit and at rest. We retain account and AI usage records only as needed to operate Morpho, support subscriptions, comply with legal obligations, and handle support or deletion requests.
