Bunclip Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Bunclip handles information while providing a local sentence library, online sentence parsing and AI translation, optional iCloud sync, and App Store purchases.

The short version
Bunclip requires no extra sign-up and does not collect personal information for advertising, analytics, profiling, or AI training. Your library is stored on your devices and, only if enabled, in your private iCloud account.
Local library
Sentences, folders, parsing results, preferences, and playback settings are stored locally on your device. You can remove them using Bunclip or by deleting the app and its local data.
Online parsing and AI translation
When you ask Bunclip to parse a sentence, that sentence is sent securely to our parsing service solely to return readings, word information, and grammatical structure. When you request an AI translation, the relevant sentence is sent securely to our AI service provider solely to generate the requested translation. Submitted text is not used for advertising, profiling, or model training.
Optional iCloud sync
If you enable iCloud sync, Apple CloudKit stores and synchronizes your library within your iCloud account across your devices. Apple processes that data under its own privacy terms; the feature uses your existing Apple account without a separate sign-up.
Purchases
Apple processes App Store purchases and may provide Bunclip with purchase or entitlement status needed to unlock features. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Collection and sharing
We do not sell personal information, and Bunclip includes no third-party advertising or behavioral analytics SDK. Submitted sentences are shared with service providers only as needed to deliver online parsing or an AI translation you request. Other information is disclosed only when required by law or needed to protect the service and users.
Children and changes
Bunclip is a general language-learning tool and is not designed to collect information from children. We may update this policy when app features or legal requirements change and will post the revised date here.
