Tonari Terms of Use

These terms explain the basic rules for using Tonari. We wrote them to be readable, but they still form a legal agreement between you and Jyuuroku, the operator of Tonari.

Plain-language summary

  • You keep ownership of the memories, notes, and media you create in Tonari.
  • Guest mode stays local until you choose to sign in and use cloud-backed features.
  • Paid features, if offered, are billed through platform stores and follow their purchase and refund rules.
  • You can stop using Tonari at any time, export data available in the app, and request account deletion.

Acceptance

By accessing or using Tonari, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Account responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for activity that happens through your account. If you believe your account was accessed without permission, contact us as soon as possible.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create in Tonari. You give us a limited permission to host, sync, back up, display to you, and delete that content as needed to operate the service.

Privacy and data handling

We handle personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. Using Tonari means you understand that some features rely on third-party providers for authentication, storage, subscriptions, and crash reporting.

Subscriptions and billing

If Tonari offers paid features, purchases are processed by Apple, Google, and related billing providers. Their pricing, billing cycles, and refund rules apply, and we do not receive your full payment card details.

Acceptable use

Please do not use Tonari to break the law, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or upload content you do not have the right to use.

Service changes

We may update Tonari, add or remove features, or revise these Terms when the product changes. When changes matter, we will update the date on this page and, when appropriate, provide additional notice.

Service limitations

Tonari is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We work to keep it reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect availability, or that every issue will be fixed immediately.
